Great Start!

We loaded our group yesterday and waited at the dock for the weather to pass. Corky had a raffle where he passed out all kinds of great give always. Rods, reels, lures, travel mugs, etc. After that everyone enjoyed some great food and relaxed.

We departed the landing at 0400 this morning and picked up a nice load of bait. Our weather was beautiful all day and our fishing was excellent. We enjoyed a great day of yellowtail fishing with some nice grade yellowfin tuna, a few bluefin tuna and some nice dorado mixed in. We were lucky enough to find 3 really good kelps that were holding a good number of fish. The yellowtail weighed 18-22 pounds and the yellowfin 18- 30 pounds. We will be trying for bluefin tonight.
