ROYAL POLARIS

Today we did a lot of driving around looking for Tuna in our travels but saw zero sign. We got lucky and ended off our day with a very nice go around on quality Yellowtail for everyone to tag. TEAM RP

Had a fun day with very nice weather and a good mix of different fish species. TEAM RP

A couple nice grade fish from today. We had very nice weather fishing on anchor today. We saw plenty of fish splashing around, but getting a bite was very tough. TEAM RP

The fishing for us has been slow the past couple days, but we are still managing to slowly scratch away at some decent YFT. We will be traveling tomorrow and looking on the way of course. TEAM RP

Yesterday was a very slow day of fishing for us. We managed one wahoo and saw zero sign of Tuna. We have been traveling all day today and got lucky with a couple shots at some nice Yellowfin Tuna. We will be in a new area trying for Tuna tomorrow. TEAM RP

Fishing was definitely slower today. We never found the same sign of wahoo as yesterday. We still had a few nice shots at some quality Yellowtail and Yellowfin Tuna. We will be traveling tomorrow. TEAM RP

We had a great day of wahoo fishing today! Everybody was able to tag a couple or more making a great start to the trip. TEAM RP

We had some very fun fishing last night on some good grade Yellowtail and a 240 pound Yellowfin Tuna caught by Lisa! We are looking around the same area today. TEAM RP

Happy New Year! We departed yesterday evening on our annual Taka’s Tackle 16 day trip. We have a great group of passengers and everyone is excited to be out on the first trip of 2026. TEAM RP

Today was a great way to end a December five day! Good ling cod and Yellowtail action for everyone! We are now heading home and will be in tomorrow morning. TEAM RP
