Wind’s up, Fish Down

The day for us started at 03:00 in the same spot we had for a nice yellowfin hit earlier the night before. We were catching tuna, only a lot smaller, few worthy of tagging. Once the sun was up, we trolled around for a few dorado strikes and got back on the anchor several times for some of the small variety the Ridge had to offer. The wind was definitely up from the last couple days with bigger seas. As the wind came up the fish went down. Tough fishing for everybody today but we were able to manage 5 Pargo, 10 Dorado, 9 Yellowfin Tuna, and 1 Yellowtail. As the evening rolled around we pointed our bow into the WNW headed for Guadalupe Island. As I am typing this now the wind seems to be going down making for smooth travels. Tomorrow we plan for a full day of travel. Until then, good luck and safe travels to the Royal Polaris!
