We departed on the 6th for our annual Shimano-sponsored 10-day trip. Our charter master, John Kuch, kicked things off with a great raffle and brought along an awesome selection of Shimano rods and reels for passengers to demo throughout the trip.

We spent most of the 7th traveling, but managed to scratch up some yellowtail from various spots while working our way down the coast.

Today, we saw a few good schools of yellowtail but they didn’t bite very well for the amount of fish we saw. We managed to piece a day together but are hoping for better action tomorrow. TEAM RP
