Our last morning was one to remember for one angler. We were woken up early to catch bait and got lucky to catch 50-ish tubes at the cost of 3-4 yozuris per bait. It’s a good thing we put in the effort because that’s exactly what the tuna wanted.

We rolled up to a bird school and every bait was either a tuna or a shark. We had a classic drift with a few 70-120# fish hooked for the entire drift.

Eric Thomas came up on the kite and as his bait bunny hopped out, so did he as it got smashed by a biggun. An hour later, he landed a 224#. It was his second biggest ever and a request was made to give him a splash, so we did!

It was a memorable morning made even more so with the Crew Fishing event. Stay tuned!
