We departed yesterday evening on our annual Cabrillo Aquarium 8 day ecology trip. After a quick check in at Ensenada we headed out to Isla Todos Santos where we saw a variety of plants, birds and mammals. After checking out Todos we spent the rest of the day traveling down the coast. In our travels we saw numerous gray whales, common dolphins, pacific white sided dolphins as well as a variety of birds. We also picked up a kelp paddy that was laden with life which we inspected and later returned to the sea.
