Giant Show

GETTING BIGGER😲

Hello everyone; Well, the morning started out with a BANG!! The bite wasn’t hot and heavy, or should I say not hot, but it was heavy. Most of the fish from our Morning bite was in the 90–140-pound range, with a few in the 170 to 190 and one stand out by Roland Crane.

Roland has been fishing with us for some time, and today was his luck day. Roland fish came in at 285 pounds, off the kite. The kite produced most of our larger fish, with two more over the 200-pound mark. Jim Woody, with a 204-pound Yellowfin, just short of his personnel best, and longtime Royal Polaris angler, Bill Golder, with a 275-pound giant Yellowfin tuna.

We did have a few more personnel best today, Glen Hieshima with a nice fish, it was not his personnel best, but since he is tankan his brothers spot, we hosed him down anyway.

The weather continues to get better each day, 😎 slight overcast clouds, sunny, and warm. Just a beautiful day on the water. We will try to refill our bait supply tonight, since the moon is coming up later each night. Wish us luck, team R/p.
