The Weather Started Getting Rough

Weather’s Up🌬️

Hello everyone; Well, the weather started getting rough, and most of the morning our passengers just relaxed, caught some Wahoo and a handful of Yellowfin. We spent some time trolling around, just to pick up a few more Wahoo.

The big surprise today was first timer Steve Poindexter was on the kite, when the bell range. As he was bringing his bait in, BANG. 😳 This was the start of a 3-hour battle. After all the sweat and tears were gone, a monster of Yellowfin was boated. The giant weighed in at 336 pounds. Second largest fish on the boat this year, so far.

Other notables, Victor Long landed his second Yellowfin over 200 pounds. We had another handful of fish in the 140-180 pounds. Things are starting to fill up, if you know what I mean.

But the weather was a bit rough today, with 22-25 knots of breeze, very large seas, overcast skies, and we had some morning rain. But the day is over for now, and we will try to make a few tanks of bait, and hopefully they will pay off again.

So until tomorrow, wish us luck, Team R/P
