Tough Day

Hello everyone; Well not much to say about today, just a very tough day of fishing. We had 8 Yellowfin tuna. Most of the fish were in the 90 to 110 pounds, with one going around 135 pounds.

Weather was beautiful, with flat seas, sunny, and warm. Water temp as cooled to a brisk 65 degrees.

Most of the fish were caught off the island, drifting. Highlight of the day, Was Joseph Kokikian did battle with a Yellowfin on his Shimano spinning reel for over an hour,

and he landed a fish around 90 pounds. He went around the boat at least 5 times, had the reel upside down at times, after the battle, he didn’t fish the spinner again that day, but tomorrow brings another task for Joseph.

We have one more day at the loop, and we are hoping things will change for us, so until tomorrow, wish us luck. Team R/p.
