Hello everyone;

We departed Fisherman's landing at 08:30 hours. We loaded our bait, and now we are headed for points south. We have a great load of bait. With 22 happy anglers, and Roy Rose at the helm, we are hoping for another great trip. We will keep you posted on our daily events. The R/p crew (Roy, Dharyl, Billy, Eddie, Aaron, Cole, Anthony, and James).

Hello everyone;

Weather continues to be gorgeous, with flat seas, clear skies, and sunny. We should arrive to Fisherman's landing around 09:00 hours. Yesterday was spent cleaning by the crew, and the passengers spent there time watching movies or just relaxing. So until my fingers and keyboard meet again, good luck and good fishing. The R/p crew.

Hi folks;

Weather was quite beautiful the entire day here at Clarion island. We fished the buffer zone after we arrived at 10:00 hours. We caught 27 Yellowfin tuna for the day. Our group had a great day and enjoyed themselves immensely. All fish were in the 70 to 100 pound category.

We spent about an hour today letting our passengers photograph Humpback whales with their calves. Then their was the unusual 2 killer whales that appeared to want to eat one of the babies. l There was much commotion to say the least. The R/p crew.

Tough day at the bank (041409)

Hi everyone;

Gorgeous weather. Flat calm and sunny. Yellowfin tuna fishing was tough today. Largest fish was a 203 pound fish caught by Mike Gauger on a sardine on 60 pound test Blackwater fluorocarbon. This was Mikes second fish over 200 pounds on a sardine this trip. Bill Nakaki took second place honors with a 188 pound fish. Wahoo fishing was steady on both bait and iron.

I must mention here that the entire crew is and has been strong believers in the Blackwater fluorocarbon. Their main reason for liking it so much is because it is an extremely strong fluorocarbon and it also has some stretch. In the past we have lost many big fish as they get close to the boat, because of no stretch. This has not been the case with the Blackwater fluorocarbon.

So wish us luck and we will keep you posted on our daily events, the R/p crew.

Hi folks;

Weather was quite beautiful today with alight breeze, overcast in the morning and sunny in the afternoon.

We also had descent scratch Yellowfin tuna fishing with 24 fish coming aboard , along with 6 Wahoo. Big fish honors today went to Brad Snyder, 217 pound Yellowfin tuna, Dave "clicker" Edgar, 215 pound Yellowfin tuna, and Bill McCarty, 199.5 pound Yellowfin tuna. We had several fish in the 160 to 180 pound category.

Tomorrow we start our last well which will be R.S.W. and hopefully we will have good fishing again. The R/p crew.

Hi folks;

Weather was breezy in the morning, but got nicer in the afternoon. Tough scratching today. 20 Wahoo and 13 Yellowfin tuna. Largest caught by Steve "The Movie-man" Franco at 215 pounds and next largest by Steve Wong at 192 pounds.

Weather should be much nicer tomorrow, so may-be the fish will cooperate a little better. Wish us luck, the R/p crew.
