Hello everyone, well that's a wrap. The last trip was a success, with lots of action every day out. We had good action on Yellowfin tuna, fishing at Alijos, with a dash of Wahoo every day. We then made a day of it, at Cedros Island, catching quality Yellowtail, and a dozen or so Halibut.
We arrived to Fisherman's landing at 06:50 hours. We off loaded our passenger's and fish. We loaded our passenger's, headed for the bait receivers and now headed south.
This is our 3 day open, with 36 happy anglers, hoping and waiting for something to pull line off their reel's. Roy made the decision to go south, instead of going after Albacore. The weather in the Albacore area is very rough. It's no fun fishing in rough weather, so we are moving south and try our luck at some inshore species (Yellowtail, Sea Bass, Halibut, and ground fish). So with that in mind, wish us luck and we will keep you posted daily. The R/p crew.

Hi folks;
Weather today was sunny, and even though we were in the lee of Cedros it was quite breezy.
We had a fun day of fishing, scratching at nice grade Yellowtail, and catching 12 Halibut's, at Billy Santiago's secret hot spot.
Weather permitting, we will fish about 3 hours tomorrow around Sacramento reef. The R/p crew.

Hi folks;
Weather today was a bit choppy with 15 to 18 knots of breeze.
Fishing however was pretty steady. We caught 54 Yellowfin tuna, and 1 Wahoo for the morning and left the rocks at 11:45 hours. We are fighting a very strong down hill current going toward Cedros, but we are hoping to get there by 07:30 hours or earlier. Wish us luck. The R/p crew.

Hi folks;
Weather continues to be slightly overcast, with a breeze today of 12 to 15 knots.
Fishing today was absolutely sensational, outstanding, epic, and most of all much fun. We boated 13 Wahoo, 108 Yellowfin tuna, 3 Dorado, and 1 Yellowtail. Most of the Yellowfin today were in the 50 to 70 pound catogory, with the largest fish around 90 pounds. Many fish were lost to the Sharks. At one point today we had to leave the area for awhile and then return after the Sharks had dispersed a bit. Most fish were caught on fly-lined sardines, with a few caught on the iron. We are planning on fishing this area till noon tomorrow, and then taking off for Cedros to fish Yellowtail and Halibut. Wish us luck. The R/p crew.

Hi folks:
Weather here at Alijos rocks could not have been better. We had flat calm seas, with light overcast and 5 to 7 knots of breeze.
We arrived at 07:15 hours and picked at the Wahoo in the morning, and a few Yellowfin tuna on the anchor. About 13:00 hours the current straightened out and we sat in one spot till dark. We boated 95 Yellowfin tuna, from 45 to 75 pounds, and 38 Wahoo. The Sharks were quite a problem and I would guess we lost 40 to 50 Yellowfin to the Sharks. It was a sensational day of fishing and our passengers are exhausted. The R/p crew.

Hi folks:
Our weather is flat calm and beautiful. We are traveling south to Alijos rocks and should arrive around 06:45. We are planning on fishing Squid for a short while tonight.
This morning we did a complete seminar on fishing Alijos rocks and the passengers spent their day preparing tackle with the entire crew assisting.
In the late afternoon some are playing cards in the Texas Hold-em tournament and some are watching a movie. So until tomorrow, wish us luck. The R/p crew.
