Hello everyone;
We arrived to San Benitos island at 07:00 hours. We had overcast skies, with 12 knots of breeze. It was a bit cool today. The weather was not the only thing to cool off, the fishing at San Benitos was a bit slow today, but we made a decent catch out of it. Most of the Yellowtail were in the 15 to 22 pound range. We caught fish on the Yo-Yo, fly-line baits, and some on the dropper-loop. There is a big spot of big Bonito (12 to 18 pounds). We would pull up on a spot of Yellowtail, and the Bonito would move them out. So we had that problem to deal with. We ended up with 59 Yellowtail and one Dorado, and lot's of Calico Bass.
We will be staying at Benitos tonight, and try our luck again tomorrow morning, so wish us luck and we will keep you posted on our events. The R/p crew.

Hello everyone;
We had excellent weather today, with a slight breeze out of the northwest at 12 knots, clear skies, and warm. Our morning started out looking for kelps, and it didn't take long. We made our first withdrawal on Yellowtail and Dorado. We would continue to pick away at Yellowtail and Dorado on kelps for the rest of the day. Most of the Yellowtail were in the 12 to 15 pound range, with a some in the 20 to 25 catogory. We did release a few Yellowtail and Dorado because of there size (under 10 pounds). We would end up with 159 Yellowtail, 23 Dorado, and 1 Yellowfin tuna.
We are now headed for San Benitos island, and will arrive around 07:00 hours. We are hoping to pick away at some larger Yellowtail. So wish us luck. The R/p crew.

Hello everyone;
We departed on our Queen of Hearts trip at 10:00 hours. The group has been fishing together for over 10 years on the Royal Polaris. Charter-master Bob & Sherry Ingles gave away teeshirts and many other prizes. We have a great load of bait and we are headed for points south.
We started hitting Kelps around 17:00 hours, and it didn't take long before we found one that was holding. We didn't have a barn burner, but we did manage to put a few fish on the boat. We caught a handful of Yellowtail and Dorado (we did release a few fish also). We are now headed south again and hope to have a good day of fishing tomorrow. So wish us luck and we will keep you posted on our daily events. The R/p crew (Billy, Dharyl, Jesus, Rafeal, Eddie, Cole, Jim, and James).

Hi Folks,
We arrived at Guadalupe Island at 9:30am. Weather continues to be excellent and as many of you know Guadalupe is a fun and beautiful island to fish. We spent the day fishing the North end of the island and found it to be tough scratchy fishing. We caught 24 big yellowtail and one thirty pound yellowfin tuna. Some of the yellows were pushing 45+ pounds. At dark we caught a tank of bait and we are now headed to the south end of the island where we plan to fish the day on Friday. Wish us luck!
