It Doesn't Get Any Better;
That's the saying going around the boat today. I've seen good Yellowfin fishing, and today was about the best it gets. Our morning started out steady, but by 10:30, it slowed down to nothing. Billy pulled the anchor and we trolled for Wahoo. With only a handful of Wahoo caught, we put the anchor down again, and it was as good as it gets. The Yellowfin were on the bite, and they bite anything that hit the water, Iron, fly-line baits, the kite. We went through the kite rotation a few time, then called it quites, for the kite.
Yesterday one of our passengers lost a rod/reel over the side, today when we pulled the anchor, there was some spectra on the rope, we pulled the spectra and at the other end was his rod and reel. Now that's good luck.
Good weather, great fishing, and good people, what more could you ask for. Until tomorrow, wish us luck. The R/p crew.

Hello everyone;
Weather was just perfect today. Clear skies, with 12 knots of breeze most of the day, with all the sunshine you could ask for.
We arrived to Alijos rocks at 06:30 hours, and it didn't take long for the Wahoo to find us. We would pick up 28 Wahoo in the 25 to 40 pound range. With the Wahoo bite slowing down, it was time to see if the Yellowfin were willing to bite. Once the anchor was set, it was game on. We had biting Yellowfin and it was as good as it gets. We had three category's of fish, 25 to 30 pound, 50 to 75 pound, and 90 to 110 pound fish. We think we have 20 fish over the century mark, with the majority of the fish in the 50 pound range. We went through the kite rotation 3 times today, but it was not the only thing that was on fire. We caught Yellowfin on 40, 50, 60 and even 80 pound Izorline today (fly-line Sardines).
Once the smoke cleared, the crew was busy putting line on most of the reels, and cleaning the boat up. Everyone was looking forward to first call for dinner. We will give this another day, then see what else Billy has up his sleeve. So wish us luck and we will keep you posted on our upcoming events. The R/p crew.

Hello everyone;
Clear skies, breeze out of the northwest, and all the sunshine you could ask for.
Our morning started out with a good breakfast, then it was time for the Billy show. Billy gave a seminar this morning, and after he was done, the crew went to work. After everyone was ready for fishing, it was time to catch a few rays, read a good book or just get a nap.
We should arrive to Alijos in the early morning hours, so with that note, wish us luck. The R/p crew.

We like to thank Newell reels, Richard Hightower, Corky Yokoe, Hayabusa hooks, Yozori Fluorocarbon, for the tackle package's. Billy will give a seminar tomorrow morning on the how's, do's and what not to do on fishing. We will keep you updated on our upcoming events. The R/p crew. Hello Everyone,
Well were all wrapped up and are headed toward home. We spent our day offshore looking to top off with some tuna. Although the action was slow we did manage to scratch up some quality Yellowfin and a few nice 25-35lb Albacore. Our e.t.a. at Fishermans Landing is 6:00 am tomorrow morning, where we will be turning around on our annual Newell Reels sponsored 7 day trip. Thats all for now so be sure to check in on the action throughout the next week.

Hello Everyone,
Today was nothing short of beautiful, complete with flat calm seas, lots of sun, and biting fish. Our morning started out on the slow side, but the action heated up by the mid afternoon with a frantic stop on 25-40lb Yellowfin tuna. After the tuna let up a bit, the big Yellowtail slid in and kept the action going strong. These were all quality fish all over 30lbs with one pushing 45lbs. With one day of fishing left, we are headed north to try and top off our wells with more Yellowfin and possibly some Albacore. Until tomorrow, wish us luck.

Hi Everyone,
Wow, wide open is the only way to describe out morning. Right out the gates this morning the yellowtail action was fast and furious. The fish were biting most anything in the water with most of the fish in the 15lb range with the occasional 18-20lb mixed in. After everyone got what they needed we opted to try our luck offshore looking for dorado and yellowfin. We found lots of huge kelps but the dorado were just missing in action today. We did find lots of yellowfin but unfortunatley they were all about five pounds. Tomorrow we will be sliding up to try and find some better grade tuna. Wish us luck.

Hi Folks,
We enjoyed a fun afternoon of yellowtail fishing today. We arrived at our destination at about 2:00 PM and kept a steady pic going on the yellows throughout the afternoon. The majority of our catch came on the yo-yo iron with only a few taken on live bait. We did end our day with one beautiful 30lb White Seabass captured on a blue and white jig. Our plan now is to head farther south with hopes to find some more biting yellowtail.

P.S. Richard Jones would like to let Marie know that he loves y'all
