Hello Everyone,
Today was our first full day of fishing for the trip, and it certainly did not disappoint. We put together a great morning with steady Yellowtail action along with several nice grade Wahoo. Most of the Yellowtail were in the 12-15lb class with the Wahoo going 30-50lbs. We rounded out our afternoon with a nice batch of porpoise that rewarded us with 25-40lb Yellowfin. Our weather continues to be absolutely gorgeous with flat calm seas and lots of sun. Tonight we will travel farther south and try our luck again at first light. Wish us luck.

Hello Everyone,
We enjoyed beautiful weather today as we cruised southbound. Most of our day was spent traveling, but we did make time this afternoon to stop and try for some rockfish for the galley. After a handful of drifts we were able to catch plenty for a nice meal, and even managed one beautiful grade 30lb grouper. Tonight we are continuing farther south, where tomorrow will we try for Wahoo and Tuna. Wish us luck.

Dorado on patrol (102508)

Hello everyone;
It's another wonderful day on the ocean. Flat seas, clear skies, and very warm day. It was like fishing in a large lake.

We arrived to the area around 06:00 hours, and we caught one Yellowtail before sunrise. Once last call for breakfast was made, Roy pulled the anchor and started looking for Wahoo. We didn't have to travel far, before the first skinny would hit the deck. It was fair fishing for Wahoo, but that would not do for Roy, so we went looking for kelps. We would only find one kelp, but was it holding. It was limit style fishing on large Dorado (most in the 12 to 16 range, with a few going up-to 20 pounds).

After the smoke cleared from the kelp, we would move north and try our luck at some Yellowtail, and it was excellent fishing for 12 to 15 pound fish, with a few going to 25 pounds. Around 16:00 hours, our passengers had enough, and we were running out of time. Roy would make one more effort for Wahoo, and we would put a few more Wahoo on the boat.

This trip is over, but it was the prefect 10 day trip. We caught fish every day. 10 day trips are about variety, and that's what we caught. We caught Yellowfin tuna, Yellowtail, Wahoo, Pargo, Dorado, Grouper. You could say, it was the perfect 10 day adventure.

So with that note, I will close for now, by saying good luck and good fishing. The R/p crew (Roy, Dharyl, Eddie, Bryan, Rafael, Cole, Anthony, and Matt).

Just a fun day of fishing (102408)

Hello everyone;
Our weather continues to be gorgeous. Flat seas, clear skies, and all the sunshine you could want. With the slight breeze, it makes fishing comfortable.

Today was just a fun day of fishing. You could cast out and catch a Yellowfin at any time (all Yellowfin were released today), or fish a sliding sinker and catch a Pargo or Yellowtail. We had great time catching a mixed bag of fish. We caught Pargo, Yellowtail, Dorado, Wahoo, and Yellowfin tuna. We released around 50 Yellowfin in the 25 to 35 pound catogory. We departed the area and we are now headed north.

We should arrive to our destination in the early morning. We will give it the old collage try tomorrow for Wahoo, so wish us luck. Until tomorrow, wish us luck. The R/p crew.

P.S. Carolyn, have a great B-dya #24, Love Ya MurF

Grouper Attac The R/p (102308)

Hello everyone;
Weather continues to be outstanding, with a slight breeze to keep you cool from the warm days we've been having.

Today we started offshore looking for something floating, but with the water temps as high as 83 degrees, it was almost impossible. The crew started to see things that were not even there. At one point we thought we saw a large log, but it only turned out to be a very large sea lion. So around 10:30 hours, Roy made the decision to move east and try our luck at Grouper again.

Once we arrived to the area, we made a drift and we landed 5 Groupers. Roy put the boat in position to drop the anchor, then it was game on. Everyone aboard caught there Grouper, with most of the fish in the 20 to 25 pound range. So with everyone catching one Grouper, Roy pulled the anchor.
We headed west again in search for something floating, but with no luck. We are now headed north on our next destination. We will target Yellowtail tomorrow morning, so wish us luck. The R/p crew.

Hello everyone;
The weather was not the only thing that was hot today. We had another excellent day of weather, with a slight breeze, flat seas, and very warm.

We had an excellent day of Yellowfin tuna fishing, with most of the fish in the 30 to 40 pound catogory. It was limits for all aboard. By 10:30 we were headed east to try our luck at Dorado and Grouper. It's not much more I can say about todays fishing. We will try our luck at looking and hoping for some COW's tomorrow, so wish us luck. The R/p crew.

Hello everyone;
Weather continues to be good, with clear skies, warm days, and a slight breeze.

Fishing continues to be on the upswing, with Yellowtail being the bulk of the catch today. It was another great day of mixed fish, with Yellowfin, Yellowtail, Pargo, and Dorado filling the hole. We continued to move south, in-search of larger Yellowfin, so wish us luck. Everyone is having a great time, and look forward to what tomorrow brings.

So with that note, good luck and good fishing. The R/p crew.
