Hi folks; Our weather once again was flat and beautiful. We started our day at San Pablo and worked up the coast from there trying several different spots. The only place we had any success was at the north end of Cedros island where we caught 55 Yellowtail from 18 to 22#. Tomorrow we will fish for Lings and Reds and then start home..........The R.P. crew....

Hi everyone; weather today was the absolute opposite of yesterday. Flat calm seas, sunny and just beautiful. The area that we were in yesterday had a prediction of 15 to 18 knots in the a.m. and down to less than 10 knots in the p.m. Mondays forecast is for beautiful weather so hopefully the boats getting to the tuna area will have a great day.
Today we caught 99 yellowtail and five Grouper. Our group is enjoying themselves and we are hoping for more yellows tomorrow. The R.P. crew.....
p.s. there are still two spots available for Wenesdays 10 day trip limited to 28 passengers.........

Hi folks; unfortunately in the middle of the night the wind came up and we had 18 to 22 knots of wind all day.
We found 2 schools of fish and although we had a few boils we never hooked a fish. One of the schools laid under the boat for 45 minutes. We are now headed to Magdalena bay to make Mackerel and will then fish our way home. Wish us luck....The R.P. crew.................

Hi folks; Weather today was Quite beautiful with calm seas and a bit of overcast.
Fishing was quite good as we spent most of the day drifting. We caught 29 tuna today with the largest at 290# caught by Tom Hurst and the next largest at 230# caught by Manfred Schiruska. The rest of the fish were in the 135# to 195# class. Many of the fish were in the 175 to 195# category. We hope that these fish will continue to bite as we try our luck again tomorrow. Hi folks; Weather today was a bit breezy although sunny most of the day.
We spent our day checking out different ridges and banks in search of large tuna. Our group had a fun day of fishing although we failed as far as finding big fish. We caught 127 tuna in the 15 to 45 # range and 41 tuna from 50 to 120#. We also had 42 Dorado and 10 Wahoo.
We arrived at Touissant bankjust before dark and saw some good signals. So we are anchored here for the night and will start here in the morning. Wish us luck and Happy Thanksgiving to all of you...............The R.P. CREW...............

Hi Everyone; We started our day today right at daybreak with a bite on 20 to
25# tuna. Some were donated to the galley and some were tagged to go home.At
about 6:15 we found a school of nice fish and landed 11 Yellowfin from 70#
to 185#. There were some at 120 and some at 150 and so on. We were off to a
great start and little did we know that we would not see another fish the
rest of the day. We covered all the banks where fish were caught in the last
week.

One should keep it in mind that we were probably just off of the fish or
the fish were down today. We are the only boat out here and this is one
situation where a few more boats would be beneficial in finding the fish. We
are certainly hoping that tomorrow will be a better day.......

Hi folks; Weather today was beautiful with flat calm seas. Fishing was
extremely slow as we checked out the entire ridge for two yellowtail and one
Wahoo.
We will be in what we think will be a much more productive area
tomorrow. We have a large number of novices who are very eager to do battle
with a tuna. Wish us luck please......The R.P. crew...........
