Another slow day (012708)
Written by Royal Polaris

Hello everyone;
I know I sound like a broken record, but it was another slow day of fishing. We put one fish in the hole today. Karl Fechner was the lucky angler. The lonely Yellowfin was estamated about 160 pounds. We did see many more schools of fish, but they didn't bite. The fish are feeding on something small, this could be the reason for the slow fishing. We are on the move once again. Our next stop, Hurricane bank. We should arrive by morning, so wish us luck.

Weather continues to be excellent. Until tomorrow, good luck and good fishing. The R/p crew.

Hello everyone;
Weather continues to be good, with clear skies and flat seas. As far as fishing goes, we are doing that, but not much catching. We fished offshore again today, with no luck. We see lots of life, just not bites. We will start to move to the west and be at Hurricane bank on Monday. So not much to report, until tomorrow wish us luck. The R/p crew.

Hello everyone;
We are on the move. With reports of high winds coming in the area we are fishing, it's time to move. Weather for now is good, with rain in the forecasts.

Hello everyone;
Weather today was just beautiful. Flat sea's, clear skies, and no wind.

Roy gave his seminar this morning on leaders (ie Flying fish, double trouble, Squid, and Wahoo wire). The crew was busy most of the morning helping passengers get ready. After lunch we made a few stops for Yellowtail and boy did we get a big surprise; we caught enough Red Rock-Cod for dinner tomorrow night. We did catch a few Yellowtail up-to 45 pounds. Largest Yellowtail caught today was by Don Burnside. We made a few stops for Squid, but no luck.

We will keep moving south and try again tomorrow night, so wish us luck. The R/p crew.

Hello everyone;
We departed Fisherman's landing at 08:15 hours. We loaded our bait, and now we are headed for points south. Weather today is cool, with flat seas, and overcast skies.

At the helm this trip is Roy Rose. Roy hasn't made a decision on where to start yet, but we will keep you posted on our upcoming events.

The Crew of the Royal Polaris would like to congratulate the New England Patriots, and the New York Giants. May the better team when at the Super Bowl. To the San Diego Chargers, may be next year. The R/p crew.
