Cedroes Yellowtail on top (071310)
Hi everyone;

Our weather today was wam and sunny with 8 knots of breeze. We had a wonderful day of steady Yellowtail fishing, with everyone catching what they wanted to keep.

Most of our passengers have found a new love for Yellowtail after enjoying Anthony or Bretts recipes. Personally I feel Yellowtail is one of the bext eating fish in the ocean. It is great babbequed, baked, grilled in fish tacos or smoked.

We are now headed north to hopefully catch some Bluefin tuna. The R/p crew.

Getting things started (071210)
Hello everyone;

We started our day with good weather, we had overcast skies, with 8 to 12 knots of breeze, but it was a bit chilly. We did get a little more wind towards the end of our day (12 to 15 knots).

As far as fishing goes, we had a good day on mixed fish, with the Albacore leading the way. We ended up with 98 Albacore and 25 Bluefin tuna. Most of the Albacore were in the 18 to 25 pound range, the Bluefin were in the 15 to 30 pound catogory, with a few fish going over the 60 pound range. Lucky angler today was Harry Mauras, with a Bluefin that went over 70 pounds.

We departed the tuna grounds at dark, and we are now headed for Cederos island, and we will try to get our Yellowtail fix, so wish us luck and we will keep you posted on our daily events. The R/p crew.

heading home
Hi Folks,
We finished up our trip today with some tough albacore fishing. At the end of the day we managed to scratch together 30 mixed grade albies. We are now headed toward San Diego and should arrive at Fisherman’s Landing tomorrow morning by 5:30 a.m. We would like to thank Ringedhooks.com for putting together another fine trip.
Tomorrow we will be turning around on our first of two Hi’s Tackle sponsored five day trips. We will be sure to update daily.
