Boat Reports
Queen Of Hearts (073110)
Hello everyone;

We had an early departure on our annual Queen Of Hearts charter. We have a great group of passengers, and we are headed for Alijos rocks. We spent very little time at the bait receiver, and we have a great load of bait. Tomorrow Frank will give his seminar on how to fish Alijos rocks.

Weather is just gorgeous, with flat seas, clear skies, and warm. So until tomorrow, wish us luck, the R/p crew (Frank, Dharyl, Billy, Eddie, John, Trevor, Anthony, and James).

Yellows continue to bite (072910)
Hello everyone;

Everything changes. Our weather took a turn for the worse. We had 18 to 22 knots of breeze most of the day, but that didn't stop the Yellowtail from biting. We had steady action on 18 to 25 pound Yellowtail, with a few going over 30 pounds. The grade of the Yellowtail improved, but the bite slowed some, but was still a good day of fishing. We are now headed north, and we will try for some bottom-fish in the morning, before we head for home.

So until tomorrow, good luck and good fishing, the R/p crew.

Yellowtail set the pace (072810)
Hello everyone;

We arrived to the Yellowtail area around 06:00 hours, and it didn't take long before we were bendo. We had a stiff breeze for about 2 hours, then it was beautiful, the in the late afternoon, we had a stiff breeze again, but that didn't stop the Yellows from biting. We had limit style fishing on 14 to 20 pound Yellowtail.

After we had our fill of Yellowtail, Roy made a few drifts for Calico bass, we didn't catch many, but we did release 3 Black Sea Bass. We will give this another try tomorrow morning, then Roy will make a decision on what he will do.

We would like to thank a few people for their donation for the trip, Richard Hightower, Cal-Star fishing rods, Lead Masters, Izorline fishing line, Bill Roecker, and Katy Tanka for the ride down.

So until tomorrow, wish us luck, we are going to try our luck on some White Sea Bass. The R/p crew.

Slow day (072710)
Hello everyone;

Weather today was a lot warm than yesterday, but the fishing didn't warm up for us. We had a very tough day of fishing, with only a handful of Albacore and Yellowtail caught, but we did manage to catch a few Dorado. We are now headed south to try our luck at some Yellowtail. So until tomorrow, wish us luck, the R/p crew.

TAKA's 5 Day (072710)
Good morning everyone;

We departed Fisherman's landing at 09:45 hours, for an early departure. With the quick turn around, and a brief stop at the bait receiver, we were headed out. With an early start we had time to catch handful of Albacore, but the action was on the slow side, so we are head southeast in hopes that the fishing will improve.

After Roy gave his safety briefing, Taka handed out tackle packages to everyone aboard. So with that note, please wish us luck and we will keep you updated on our daily events. The R/p crew (Roy, Dharyl, Billy, Eddie, John, Cole, Anthony, and Brett)
