Last day of waiting (2/11/13)
Tomorrow we fish, and when it comes to tackle prep, if it ain't done by now it don't need doin. Of course redoing is another matter and I'm sure we'll be adjusting and making changes throughout the trip. Weather continues to be pleasant. Not a lot of sun shine today and still a bit of wind but over all no one is complaining. Big D gave an informative talk on fishing for and fighting big tuna and all that's left now is to actually hook one and put it all to good use. The anticipation for a trip like this is pretty hard to describe. Forget the better part of year thinking about it and buying every thing you'll need and a bunch of stuff you don't, the four days of intense preparation and dreaming about getting your line in the water is hard enough to take. They tell me Internet communication is already scratchy so by the time you read this the waiting will probably be over and the catching well underway. The "Big Island Buffet" last night was amazing. Roast pig, seared Ahi, chicken, shrimp and a fabulous salad with fresh dinner rolls. What a treat! Wish us luck even if we are well into fishing.

POEM OF THE DAY
Wherever a sewer pipe's gushing
You'll find the Rooster fish rushing
If you need to go
But the toilet won't flow
Roto-Rooster will get you a flushing.
